Five people were killed in Saudi Arabia and Yemen

Two people were killed in an attack attributed to Yemeni rebels, the Houthis in Saudi Arabia, while three were killed in Yemen in an airstrike by a Riyadh-led military coalition.

Two people were killed Friday night in Saudi Arabia near the border with Yemen, local authorities said, adding that the rocket hit a shop.

According to hospital sources in Yemen, three people were killed and six wounded in attacks by a military coalition northwest of Sanaa, the capital in the hands of Shiite Houthi rebels, reports aljazeera .

Tens of thousands of people have died since 2014, when the civil war broke out in Yemen, and several million have been displaced.

In addition to the war, Yemen is one of the poorest countries, with 80 percent of the population dependent on international aid and on the brink of starvation. The UN believes the country has the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
