Half of the season has passed in Formula 1, the most prestigious organization of motor sports.

The defending champion Max Verstappen secured his place in the first place with 6 wins in 11 races.

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who entered the season quickly, was away from the podium for a long time due to the malfunctions he experienced in his car in the following races.

The Monaco driver, who won the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend, thus put an end to his longing for a 7-race win.

In the first half of the season, Max Verstappen took the podium 8 times, while Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez achieved this success 6 times.

On the other hand, in the remaining 11 races, Charles Leclerc took the first place with 259 laps and Max Verstappen with a total of 253 laps.

Williams’ Canadian driver Nicholas Latifi was the only one who could not score among the 20 drivers.

The season in Formula 1 will enter the summer break after the Hungarian race on 31 July.

The fight will end on 20 November in Abu Dhabi.
